The Anzac Memorial is a war memorial, museum, and monument honouring the Australian soldiers who lost their lives in First World War. The Anzac Memorial located in Sydney's CBD, at Liverpool Street in Hyde Park South. The Anzac Memorial is no longer just a physical structure; it also exists online, where you may find out about upcoming events, exhibits, veteran programmes, and stories from the Anzac Memorial's Collection.

Overview

The Anzac Memorials website was built with great care, with a back-end that works well and a front-end that is clean and easy to understand. Not only that, The Anzac Memorials website also utilises a very good Drupal 7 as their Content Management System (CMS). However, Drupal is always changing and older versions are near their end of life, a move to the latest version is necessary.

For this reason, a huge maintenance was carried out on The Anzac Memorial website, and this project was put into action. As a digital company with years of experience in Drupal migration, Kororo holds a significant role in this project.

We began the project by preparing and planning. The migration was then carried out by first backing up the database from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. Next, we set up the migration module and everything it needs. Drush is what we use in this migration process. After the migration was completed, we compared the Drupal 9 migration results to the initial Drupal 7 website.

In this migration process, we also perform careful testing, especially while working on the migration outcomes, where our QA team must ensure that all files meet Drupal 9 Standards.

With a team of dedicated professionals, we succeeded to complete the Anzac Memorial migration project. This project also enabling our clients to embrace Drupal 9, which is one of Drupal's newest and most powerful versions.
